Kaung’s journey began at Strategy First International College, where he pursued Business Management while exploring entrepreneurship beyond the classroom. During this time, he founded Wavluence, a social media marketing company, followed by URUS, which helps businesses streamline client intake through automation. These ventures allowed him to gain practical business experience, understand operational challenges firsthand, and develop a deeper interest in the relationship between technology and business. He is now preparing to continue his academic journey in Germany for his final year.
Beyond business, Kaung is driven by a pursuit of physical endurance, creativity, and exploration. As a hybrid athlete, he combines bodybuilding with road and trail running, including ultramarathon training. He is also a mountaineer, with ambitions of summiting Mount Everest and completing a full Ironman. Outside sport, he has a deep appreciation for cinematic filmmaking and photography. He finds beauty in even the simplest things and enjoys capturing moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. To him, these pursuits are different ways of experiencing life, testing his limits, and preserving the moments that make it meaningful.
Orren was born from the lessons Kaung gained while building and operating his previous businesses, particularly URUS. He began to recognise that operational inefficiencies cost businesses far more than money or productivity; they can extend into personal lives, occupying people’s thoughts and affecting their relationships, families, and overall well-being. As he explored artificial intelligence, he discovered its potential to address these bottlenecks and create more room for life beyond work. He does not believe that fully automated AI businesses can eliminate the need for human involvement. Instead, he believes AI is most valuable when it complements human capability and resolves the inefficiencies that hold businesses back. Through his own experience, he came to understand that improving the way work operates can bring greater balance to life itself. Orren was founded on this conviction: to help businesses move forward while giving the people behind them more room to live.
As a co-founder and consultant at ORREN, Thoon believes artificial intelligence represents a new form of serendipity for business, revealing possibilities that might otherwise remain undiscovered. To her, AI is not merely about technology, but about creating clarity, accelerating progress, and transforming the way businesses operate. This belief drew her to ORREN and its vision of turning challenges into opportunities and ideas into action. She sees the company as an opportunity to help businesses discover meaningful value through technology while ensuring that innovation remains grounded in real human needs.
Beyond ORREN, Thoon is building a makeup distribution company founded on her belief that beauty extends beyond appearance; it is a form of identity, self-expression, and impact. She is drawn to the beauty industry for its ability to empower individuality and create meaningful connections. Through this venture, she hopes to bring products and opportunities to people while building a business that reflects her appreciation for beauty, creativity, and purposeful entrepreneurship.
Thoon journey began at Strategy First International College, where she studied Business Management alongside her partner. Before entering entrepreneurship, she worked as a model, an experience that shaped her appreciation for beauty, identity, and self-expression. Driven by her passion for makeup and the beauty industry, she is now building a makeup distribution company of her own. Through her partner’s experience in entrepreneurship and AI, alongside her own growing interest in the technology, she came to recognize AI’s significance across industries and its potential to shape the future of business. Her journey reflects an evolving intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, and technology, guided by a desire to build meaningful ventures and embrace new possibilities.
