Frequency Asked Question

The purpose of an AI audit is to give you a clear understanding of where AI could create meaningful value within your business. At the end of the assessment, you receive a detailed view of the opportunities identified, the problems they address, the potential impact, and the recommended direction for moving forward.

Rather than leaving you with a collection of AI ideas, Orren provides a prioritized perspective on what is worth pursuing, why it matters, and where the greatest opportunities may lie.

An AI audit can be valuable for businesses at different stages of their AI journey, whether you are just beginning to explore AI or already using it in parts of your organisation.

The assessment is particularly useful when you believe there may be opportunities within the business but are unsure where they are, what should be prioritized, or whether your current use of AI is delivering its full potential. Orren looks at your business first, rather than assuming a particular technology is right for you.

Orren begins by understanding how your business actually operates. Through conversations with founders, stakeholders, managers, and employees, we examine how work is performed, where time and capacity are being used, and where recurring challenges or inefficiencies exist.

These findings are then assessed against practical AI opportunities. The focus is not on finding places to insert AI, but on finding meaningful problems and determining whether AI is the right way to address them.

The assessment takes place over approximately 14 days and is structured around understanding, analysing, and evaluating the business.

We begin with interviews across the relevant areas of the organization, followed by an analysis of workflows, processes, and identified bottlenecks. We then assess potential AI opportunities, consider their practical and financial impact, and conclude with a clear presentation of our findings and recommended roadmap.

The amount of involvement depends on the size and complexity of the business. Orren typically conducts a series of focused interviews with the people who have the most relevant knowledge of your operations.

These conversations are designed to be purposeful rather than disruptive. The goal is to gain an accurate understanding of how the business works without creating unnecessary demands on your team.

The audit is designed to give you clarity on what should happen next. Following the assessment, Orren presents the identified opportunities, their potential impact, and the areas that deserve further consideration.

From there, you can decide how you wish to proceed. Some opportunities may be suitable for immediate action, while others may require further planning, investment, or simply more consideration. The decision remains yours.

Not at all. You do not need to know which AI technology you need, or even where AI could fit within your business.

That is part of the purpose of the audit. Orren looks at the business from the ground up, identifies areas where meaningful opportunities may exist, and determines whether AI is appropriate. You bring the business; we help uncover where the opportunity lies.

Orren does not use rigid packages because every business requires a different level of investigation. The final fee is primarily determined by the number of interviews required and the size and complexity of the business.

The intention is to keep the scope appropriate to the business rather than applying the same assessment to every organisation. Before beginning, the required scope and corresponding fee will be discussed clearly.
